Cloud Nine Rose Collection
Roses, and only roses, gathered by hand into one generous bouquet: that is the Cloud Nine Rose Collection. In Saint Lucia the rose has its own society and its own feast on 30 August, so this is a flower people here understand well. Partners working on cruise ships or studying overseas send it for Valentine's Day, for a birthday, or on an ordinary Tuesday. A florist on the island makes it up and brings it to a home or workplace in Castries, Vieux Fort or wherever she is. Partners working at sea or studying overseas pick the Cloud Nine Rose Collection for Valentine's Day and for the La Rose feast on 30 August, when the rose is honoured islandwide. A local Saint Lucian florist delivers the roses by hand.
